7 July 2010 - Healing thoughts please.
Bonjour.
So tomorrow marks a significant day for me. It marks the 2 year anniversary of when I was diagnosed with cancer. And here I am, still fighting the good fight, and along the way living a pretty high quality life.
Speaking of fighting the good fight, I have a cyberknife procedure that is scheduled for tomorrow at 11:30. I also have subsequent cyberknife procedures scheduled for Friday at 10:30 and Tuesday at 10:30. That makes three procedures to treat three “supposedly” growing tumors.
If you have a chance, please take a moment or two to send me your healing and positive thoughts - please. I really believe that it helps me whether the treatments and the side effects better. I even have evidence to support the fact. Read the bracketed stuff if you want to know more about the evidence, or skip if you do not need to be convinced :)
[Last time I had a series of cyberknife treatments, some of my Reiki friends were conscientiously sending me reiki during the time I was scheduled for treatment. I experienced these treatments relatively easily. The final treatment though, which hadn’t been scheduled in the original plan and was sort of a surprise, so my Reiki friends did not know anything about sending me reiki during that time. My experience of the procedure was notably different. I was uncomfortable and irritable. I couldn’t wait to get out of there.] That’s more than enough convincing for me!
I led my first labyrinth group last night. We had to deal with a number of obstacles, but it still went reasonably well. Everyone who participated seemed to find value in the exercise. Hopefully they may go on to use the labyrinth in the future.
